This Privacy Policy explains how Aurora+ (“we”, “us”) collects, uses and protects personal data of people who use the website aurora.thevoice.com.mx and the Aurora+ Smart TV application (the “Service”). By using the Service you agree to this policy.

1. Who we are

Data controller: Aurora+ — representative Leonardo Chaves. Contact: leonardochaves325@gmail.com.

2. Data we collect

  • Account (when you create or link an account): name, e-mail address and password (stored only as a hash).
  • TV pairing: a temporary code shown on the TV and a device identifier, used only to link the TV to your account.
  • Payments (if you subscribe to a plan): payment data is processed by the payment provider (Pix); we do not store card data.
  • Usage of the Service: titles watched and playback position (for “continue watching”), audio/subtitle preferences, technical logs (IP address, device/browser type, date and time) and cookies strictly necessary for the website to work.

We do not collect precise location, camera, microphone, contacts or biometric data.

3. How we use data

  • To provide, operate and maintain the Service (sign-in, catalogue, playback, history).
  • To process subscriptions and confirm payments.
  • For security, fraud and abuse prevention, and to comply with legal obligations.
  • To communicate with you about your account or changes to the Service.

We do not sell personal data and we do not use your data for third-party targeted advertising.

4. Sharing

We share data only with providers that operate the Service on our behalf (hosting, content delivery and payment processing) under confidentiality obligations, or when required by law or a competent authority.

5. Retention

Account data is kept while the account exists and for up to 6 months after deletion, unless a longer retention is required by law. Technical logs are kept for up to 12 months. Playback data can be deleted by you at any time.

6. Your rights

Under the Brazilian LGPD (Law 13.709/2018) and other applicable laws you may request confirmation, access, correction, anonymisation, portability or deletion of your data, and withdraw consent. Write to the contact e-mail; we answer within 15 days.

7. Children

The Service is not directed to children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect data from children. Age-rated content is labelled according to the applicable rating rules.

8. Security

We use encryption in transit (HTTPS), hashed passwords and access control to our systems. No system is 100% secure; we will notify relevant incidents as required by law.

9. Cookies

The website uses strictly necessary cookies (session and preferences). The TV application does not use third-party cookies.

10. Changes

We may update this policy; the current version will always be available on this page with its update date.
